Library books will be issued only on showing the College Identity card.
Students should enter the library through IN-OUT SYSTEM while check in and have to ensure to check out on leaving.
Reference books, magazines, journals will not be issued.
Time to issue and return books will be from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm.
Books will be issued to a student for a maximum period of 15 days. After that, the books may be reissued or returned, else, a fine of Rs. 2/- per day per book will be charged.
A student can get a book reissued up to a maximum of two times.
The librarian may recall any book from any member at any time and the member shall return the same immediately.
If a student loses a library book, then he/she has to replace it or pay the cost of the latest edition.
If papers are torn off or the book is found damaged the student has to either replace the book or deposit the cost of book, its latest edition.
Students are required to handle books and journals very carefully; marking with pencil; writing or highlighting, tearing the pages or mutilating the book in any other way will be taken very seriously. In such a case, the reader shall be held responsible unless these issues are brought to the notice of the library staff at the time of issuing the book.
Students should return books within a week after completing their respective semester/yearly examinations, otherwise a fine will charged.
Each student shall obtain a No Dues Certificate from the library after returning all the books issued on leaving the college or at the end of the semester/year.
Students can demand or request any book through library webopac.
Bags and personal books are not allowed in the library.
The students are expected to be silent in the library.
No discussion is permitted inside the library.
Use of mobile phones is restricted in the library.
