The Courses offered by the department are designed to equip our students with a comprehensive understanding of the dynamic landscape of business, management, and entrepreneurship. Our department has evolved such a pedagogy that enables the students to be future ready with the required skill set. We follow a comprehensive pedagogy including case and project-based learning, business games, simulation exercises, experiential learning, expert talks from industry and academia and through a plethora of certificate courses.

Dr. Leena Sharma is a distinguished academician and researcher with over 20 years of professional experience, encompassing both industry and academia. She brings with her a rich blend of 5 years of corporate experience with ICICI Bank and more than 15 years of dedicated service in higher education, specializing in marketing, strategic management, entrepreneurship, and consumer behavior.
She holds a Ph.D. in Management along with multiple postgraduate qualifications, including an MBA (Marketing & HR) and M.Com in Business Administration. She is also UGC-NET and RPSC-SET qualified in Management, reflecting her strong academic foundation.
At St. Xavier’s College, Jaipur, Dr. Sharma has held several key leadership roles, including Head of Department, Dean (Commerce & Management), Research Cell Coordinator, and NAAC Steering Committee Member. She has been actively involved in academic administration, curriculum development, accreditation processes, and organizing national and international conferences.
An accomplished researcher, Dr. Sharma has published extensively in reputed national and international journals, including Scopus-indexed and UGC-listed journals, and has contributed to edited books with international publishers. Her research interests span areas such as digital marketing, AI in management, sustainable entrepreneurship, and innovation in marketing practices. She has also guided doctoral research scholars and contributed as a co-supervisor for multiple Ph.D. theses.
Dr. Sharma is the author of books on marketing management, entrepreneurship and business leadership and has served on editorial boards of academic journals. She has also been associated with research consultancy projects in collaboration with organizations such as the Asian Development Bank and leading healthcare institutions.
A recognized thought leader, she has been invited as a resource person, session chair, and speaker at numerous national and international platforms, including Doordarshan and IGNOU. Her contributions to academia have been acknowledged through prestigious honors such as the Outstanding Academician Award, Shiksha Ratan Award (2024), and Global Outreach Education Award for Excellence in Academics.
Dr Salim Khan is a Former Head and faculty member in the Department of Business Administration at St. Xavier’s College, Jaipur. With a PhD in Business Administration and 15 years of teaching experience, he brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his role. Dr Khan has an impressive educational background, including a Qualified Management Graduate degree in Finance & Marketing, a Master of Commerce degree in BADM and EAFM, a PGDHE, NET (Commerce), NET (Management), and SET (Management). With his diverse range of qualifications, Dr Khan demonstrates a strong foundation in various subjects, including Quantitative Techniques, Business Statistics, Financial Management, Business Management, Entrepreneurship, Managerial Economics, Functional Management, and Business Policy & Strategic Management. Dr Khan’s teaching philosophy revolves around practical application and critical thinking. He engages students through interactive discussions, case studies, and real-world examples, helping them develop a solid understanding of business principles and problem-solving skills.
In addition to his teaching responsibilities, Dr Khan actively conducts research in the field of Business Logistics and Supply Chain, Stress Management. His work has been published in reputable journals and presented at conferences, contributing to the advancement of knowledge in his field. Outside of academia, Dr Khan maintains strong industry connections and collaborates with the corporate sector to stay updated on the latest industry trends and bring relevant insights into the classroom. With his dedication to student success, passion for research, and industry connections, Dr Khan is a valuable member of the department of Business Administration. He is committed to preparing future business leaders and making a meaningful impact in both academia and the business community.
Bio Note:
Ms. Anjali Pareek is currently serving as the Head of the Department of Business Administration. She holds an MBA with specialization in Marketing and Finance, along with a Master’s degree in Commerce (M.Com – Business Administration). She has qualified the National Eligibility Test (NET) in both Management and Commerce and also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Higher Education (PGDHE). She is also pursuing her Ph.D. in the area of marketing. She brings 14 years of rich experience across academic and corporate domains, enabling her to integrate theoretical concepts with practical insights effectively. She has been actively engaged in teaching subjects such as Marketing, Human Resource Management, International Business, and Business Communication at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. She has demonstrated strong academic leadership through her association with various institutional responsibilities. She has served as the Students’ Council Coordinator, Coordinator of the Innovation and Incubation Cell, and Coordinator of the Intellectual Property Cell, contributing significantly to fostering a culture of innovation and research. She has also been associated as a Business Incubator for MSME (Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises) Higher Educational Institution, supporting entrepreneurial initiatives and startup development. Furthermore, she served as the Coordinator for the SWAYAM/MOOCs
Committee for over five years, during which the institution consistently secured active SWAYAM Local Chapter status for five consecutive years under her leadership. Ms. Pareek held Individual Membership of the All India Management Association (AIMA) during
2019–2020 and holds a lifetime membership in the Desert Research Association, reflecting her continued engagement with professional and research communities. She has also been invited to various panel discussions and forums to share her insights on the innovation ecosystem and contemporary academic practices. A dedicated researcher, she has published numerous research papers in reputed national and international journals. Her research interests include advertising, green marketing, branding, brand loyalty, and brand attachment, with her work in branding being highly acclaimed. She has also published a patent on a deep learning-based analysis to examine the impact of social media platforms on students’ academic performance, reflecting her interdisciplinary research capabilities. With a strong academic foundation, extensive experience, and proven leadership, Ms. Anjali Pareek continues to contribute significantly to the field of management education, research, and innovation.
Dr. Happy Agrawal is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Business Administration at St. Xavier’s College, Jaipur (Rajasthan) India. She holds the degree of Master of Business Administration (Finance and Marketing), Master of Commerce (M.Com) Post Graduate Diploma in International Business and Finance (PGDIBF), NET (Commerce), NET (Management), SET (Management) and Doctorate of Philosophy (Business Administration).
She has more than a decade of widespread experience in different institutions across subjects like Financial Management, Business Management, Entrepreneurship, Economics, Functional Management, Business Policy & Strategic Management, Marketing Management, etc.
She is a highly organized and proficient communicator with proven abilities to effectively manage and motivate students in different classroom settings coupled with being comfortable working with peers and seniors.
She is actively engaged in various clubs and committees organising co-curricular activities to help students have their skills. She has delivered various lectures in FDPs as a resource person in eminent institutes.
She has to her credit numerous research publications in various reputed national and international Journals and also has attended various national and international conferences.
She has enriched her knowledge by undergoing various training and attending workshops on different aspects from time to time. Her areas of interest are Finance, Banking, Marketing, HR, Entrepreneurship, and Gender Studies.

Dr. Renu Jadon is a dedicated academician and researcher in the discipline of Commerce and Management with more than 17 years of teaching and academic experience in higher education. She is currently serving as an Assistant Professor at St. Xavier’s College, Jaipur, where she actively contributes to teaching, research supervision, curriculum development, and institutional academic initiatives. Dr. Jadon holds a Ph.D. in Commerce along with M.B.A in Finance and a Master’s degree in Economic Administration and Financial Management. She has qualified both NET and SLET in Commerce, reflecting her strong academic foundation. Her academic work emphasizes research-driven knowledge creation. Her research profile includes Scopus-indexed publications, focusing on sustainability, green finance, circular economy, and strategic management perspectives. She has published several research papers in UGC-CARE-listed journals and contributed Scopus-indexed book chapters with international publishers such as Springer and IGI Global. She is also the author and contributor to multiple books and reference works in Management Accounting and related disciplines. In addition, she holds published patents, demonstrating her engagement with applied and innovative research. At St. Xavier’s College, Jaipur, Dr. Jadon has held several key leadership roles, including Co- convenor, Organising Secretary for International Conferences. She also contributed to Faculty Development Cell as Asst. Coordinator, and Research & Development Cell as Member. She has been actively involved in academic administration, curriculum development, accreditation processes, and organizing workshops and various academic events. Dr. Jadon has presented papers at numerous national and international conferences and has received recognition including a Best Paper Award. She frequently serves as a resource person, examiner, and academic contributor, promoting research excellence and scholarly collaboration. She also worked as paper reviewer and thesis evaluator. Her work reflects a commitment to quality education, interdisciplinary research, and sustainable academic development.
Dr. Neetu Sharma is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Business Administration at St. Xavier’s College, possessing over 10 years of rich experience in academia. She holds a Ph.D. in Commerce, an MBA with dual specialization in Marketing and Human Resource
Management, and an M. Com, and has qualified UGC-NET in both Commerce and Management. Her areas of expertise encompass Marketing, Human Resource Management, Advertising, Business Laws, and Entrepreneurship. She has contributed extensively to scholarly discourse through publications in reputed national and international journals and active participation in academic conferences and professional development forums.
Sub Lt (Dr) Pradeep Soni is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Business Administration at St. Xavier's College, Jaipur. With his passion for teaching and extensive knowledge in business administration, he plays a pivotal role in shaping the minds of future business leaders.
He holds a Master’s Degree in ABST & EAFM, a Doctorate in Commerce from the University of Rajasthan, Jaipur, and has qualified UGC-NET in Commerce.
Additionally, he has earned a Post Graduate Diploma in Higher Education (PGDHE) from IGNOU and a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration (PGDBA) with a specialization in Marketing Management from Symbiosis, Pune. He also serves as an Academic Counsellor at IGNOU, Jaipur.
Dr. Soni’s commitment to academic excellence, along with his dedication to the personal and professional growth of his students, combined with his industry experience and research contributions, makes him a valuable asset to both the institution and the students he mentors.
Beyond academics, he is actively involved in extracurricular activities, including youth adventure training programs, personality development, and skill-based initiatives. He was recently recognized as the Best Programme Officer in the National Service Scheme (NSS) by the Department of Higher Education, Government of Rajasthan.
Dr. Soni has also been honored with the State Award Appreciation in the Red Ribbon Club from the State AIDS Control Society of Rajasthan in recognition of his contributions to social awareness and public health initiatives. Additionally, he has received the President's Award in Bharat Scouts and Guides for his exceptional service and leadership as a Rover Scout Leader in his college.
Furthermore, he serves as the Associate NCC Officer (ANO) of the Naval Wing of NCC at his institution and plays a crucial role in coordinating various government-sponsored programs.
Dr. Tarun Sharma is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Business Administration at St. Xavier’s College. He possesses a strong academic background in Commerce and Management, holding an MBA in Finance & Marketing and an M.Com in Business Administration, and has qualified UGC-NET in both Commerce and Management. He has submitted his Ph.D. thesis, focusing on a comparative study of e-banking services in public and private sector banks.
He is dedicated to teaching subjects related to finance, accounting, and management, with a focus on developing students’ conceptual clarity and practical understanding. In addition to his teaching responsibilities, he actively contributes to research, mentoring and various academic activities within the department.
