Ms. Mrinalini Faujdar is an academician and a passionate teacher of Public Administration. With a strong commitment in the field of education and research she has made significant contributions in the field through her scholarly work and innovative teaching endeavours. Ms Faujdar has a Master’s Degree in Public Administration, MPhil. and has cleared UGC-NET. Her interest areas are Financial Inclusion, Financial Literacy, Women Empowerment, Make in India Projects. She has published research papers in many renowned UGC Care journals. She has also published a patent on ‘Impact of Policy Framework On Indian Tourism’. She is the author of the book ‘Make in India: Pragmatism and Realism’. She has a strong commitment to education and has proven as an exceptional educator. She has a teaching experience of more than 13 years and is presently serving as Head, Department of Arts at St Xavier’s College Jaipur.
Fr Dr Arokya Swamy SJ is the Rector and Manager of Xavier Higher Educational Institutions at Nevta. He is a dynamic Jesuit in his vocation and mission and a practical social scientist. Participant observation is his research strength. In a caste-patriarchal hierarchical Indian society, he strongly believes establishing a just social order is the primary mission. After having accomplished his master's in socio-cultural anthropology at Pune University he worked for a decade in the field of rural development in Delhi and Uttarakhand. Empowerment through social change is his Mantra. He is convinced that 50% of the population is comprised of women in any given society and hence their role is inevitable for establishing Eco-just and sustainable society. By transforming ‘Indian Caste-Patriarchal Habitus’ he regards caste and gender discriminations can be drastically reduced if not obliterated. He has a PhD in sociology from Leopold-Franzen’s University Innsbruck, Austria. He loves to teach the students to grasp the concepts clearly and comprehend the ground realities critically.
