Call for Student Research Project

The Research and Project Committee (RPC) of St. Xavier’s College Jaipur invites applications for Research Projects from students at various institutions to train and empower them in their fields through research initiatives. These projects aim to address diverse critical issues affecting communities, with a focus on sustainable development, community engagement, science & innovation, and social well-being for Viksit Bharat by 2047. The primary objective of student research projects is to foster critical thinking, problem-solving, and independent learning. The project work will also qualify for the Student Internship under Category II: Developing the Research Aptitude, which is mandatory under the NEP Framework. Selected projects will receive seed money to undertake outcome-based research and to support their implementation. National symposium

St. Xavier’s College Jaipur, has been a vibrant hub for intellectual discourse and academic collaboration through its National Symposium series. Each year, the college organizes thematic symposiums that bring together scholars, practitioners, and students to engage with pressing issues affecting society and development.

2023-24: Three-Day National Symposium on Knowledge Transfer Programme
Scheduled for March 2-4, 2024, the upcoming symposium focuses on the theme “Envisaging Viksit Bharat @ 2047.” This event aims to explore strategies for India’s development over the next two decades, particularly in the context of knowledge transfer, sustainable practices, and innovative policies. It will feature keynote speakers, panel discussions, and interactive sessions, fostering dialogue on the role of education and research in achieving a developed nation.

2022-23: 2nd National Symposium on Socio-economic Policies
Held on March 13-14, 2023, the 2nd National Symposium continued the exploration of “The Impact of Socio-economic Policies on Global Development.” This symposium sought to critically assess how various socio-economic policies have shaped global development trends and addressed contemporary challenges. It featured diverse perspectives from academia and industry, encouraging discussions on effective policy-making.

2021-22: 1st National Symposium on Socio-economic Policies
The inaugural National Symposium, held on March 10-11, 2022, laid the groundwork for these discussions with a similar theme. It provided a platform for scholars to analyze the implications of socio-economic policies on various aspects of global development, fostering an environment of knowledge sharing and interdisciplinary engagement.
