Department of Business Administration uses meticulous and intensive integrated teaching methods to prepare the students to take up business and managerial positions in the global environment. The Courses offered by the department are designed to equip our students with a comprehensive understanding of the dynamic landscape of business, management, and entrepreneurship. Our department has evolved such a pedagogy that enables the students to be future ready with the required skill set. We follow a comprehensive pedagogy including case and project-based learning, business games, simulation exercises, experiential learning, expert talks from industry and academia and through a plethora of certificate courses.

Dr. Leena Sharma heading the Department of Business Administration at St. Xavier’s College, Jaipur, Rajasthan, holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration with dual specialization in Marketing and HR. She is also an M. Com (BADM), and has qualified UGC NET and RPSC-SLET. She has done her doctorate from FMS, University of Rajasthan. With more than 19 years of rich experience (5 years of industry and 14 years academic and research experience), Dr. Sharma has been actively involved in course development and the preparation of focused research studies relating to her areas of interest. She has contributed and published many research papers in reputed International Journals and has presented papers in National Conferences and also got patents on her published research works. Her research interests include: Marketing, Advertising, Innovation in Marketing, Entrepreneurship, Strategic Management, Consumer Behaviour, HR practices, Business Ethics etc. She actively participates at various Entrepreneurship based Conferences and Conclaves at reputed institutions including IIM’s and she has also been the member of editorial boards of many reputed journals. She is also an advisor and research analyst for projects sponsored by the government. She is actively working on many book writing projects and is a supervisor to the PhD students in their respective field of studies.
Dr Salim Khan is a Former Head and faculty member in the Department of Business Administration at St. Xavier’s College, Jaipur. With a PhD in Business Administration and 15 years of teaching experience, he brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his role. Dr Khan has an impressive educational background, including a Qualified Management Graduate degree in Finance & Marketing, a Master of Commerce degree in BADM and EAFM, a PGDHE, NET (Commerce), NET (Management), and SET (Management). With his diverse range of qualifications, Dr Khan demonstrates a strong foundation in various subjects, including Quantitative Techniques, Business Statistics, Financial Management, Business Management, Entrepreneurship, Managerial Economics, Functional Management, and Business Policy & Strategic Management. Dr Khan’s teaching philosophy revolves around practical application and critical thinking. He engages students through interactive discussions, case studies, and real-world examples, helping them develop a solid understanding of business principles and problem-solving skills.
In addition to his teaching responsibilities, Dr Khan actively conducts research in the field of Business Logistics and Supply Chain, Stress Management. His work has been published in reputable journals and presented at conferences, contributing to the advancement of knowledge in his field. Outside of academia, Dr Khan maintains strong industry connections and collaborates with the corporate sector to stay updated on the latest industry trends and bring relevant insights into the classroom. With his dedication to student success, passion for research, and industry connections, Dr Khan is a valuable member of the department of Business Administration. He is committed to preparing future business leaders and making a meaningful impact in both academia and the business community.
Ms. Anjali Pareek is an assistant professor in the Department of Business Administration. She has an experience of over a decade in the field of education teaching subjects like Marketing, Human Resource, International Business and Communications at both graduate and postgraduate level. She has extensive experience in the field of research. She has published numerous research articles in reputed journals. Her research interests include advertising, green marketing, branding brand loyalty and brand attachment. Her research papers on branding have been highly acclaimed. She holds an MBA degree with specialisation in Marketing and Finance, along with it she has a Post Graduate Degree in Commerce MCOM (BADM). She has qualified National Eligibility Test( NET) in both Management and Commerce. She also holds Post Graduate diploma in Higher Education (PGDHE). She has also published a patent on deep learning based analysis to identify the impact of various social media platforms on the academic performance of students.
Dr. Happy Agrawal is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Business Administration at St. Xavier’s College, Jaipur (Rajasthan) India. She holds the degree of Master of Business Administration (Finance and Marketing), Master of Commerce (M.Com) Post Graduate Diploma in International Business and Finance (PGDIBF), NET (Commerce), NET (Management), SET (Management) and Doctorate of Philosophy (Business Administration).
She has more than a decade of widespread experience in different institutions across subjects like Financial Management, Business Management, Entrepreneurship, Economics, Functional Management, Business Policy & Strategic Management, Marketing Management, etc.
She is a highly organized and proficient communicator with proven abilities to effectively manage and motivate students in different classroom settings coupled with being comfortable working with peers and seniors.
She is actively engaged in various clubs and committees organising co-curricular activities to help students have their skills. She has delivered various lectures in FDPs as a resource person in eminent institutes.
She has to her credit numerous research publications in various reputed national and international Journals and also has attended various national and international conferences.
She has enriched her knowledge by undergoing various training and attending workshops on different aspects from time to time. Her areas of interest are Finance, Banking, Marketing, HR, Entrepreneurship, and Gender Studies.
Dr Renu Jadon is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Business Administration at St. Xavier’s College, Jaipur. She has 15 years of vast experience of teaching under-graduate and post-graduate students in various colleges. She has a doctorate from the University of Rajasthan. She has cleared UGC-NET (Commerce) and RPSC-SLET (Commerce) in her first attempts. She did her Graduation and Post Graduation from M.D.S University, Ajmer, and also has an M.B.A with dual specialization in Finance and Marketing from DMS, JNV University, Jodhpur.
She was a visiting faculty at Pearl Academy of Fashion and Management, Jaipur. With strong academic background her interest areas are Banking, Finance, Micro-Economics, and International Relations. She has, to her credit , two books published by reputed publishers in Commerce and Management. She has also contributed as co-author in one book and contributed a book chapter in an edited book on Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Economic Development. She has participated in several national and international seminars/conferences. She is also inclined towards research and her research papers are published in reputed journals. Her research work is in the direction of service quality and market orientation. She has been a part of various clubs and committees of the college and has coordinated various events and programmes at college level.
Dr Suri is a research oriented academician and is an expert in the concepts of Accountancy and Statistics. Ma’am is currently working as an Assistant Professor at St. Xavier’s College, Jaipur.A seasoned and dedicated professional with a vast experience in teaching, she holds a PhD degree, is a UGC- Net (Commerce) qualified and has Masters in both Commerce and Economics, and also has successfully completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration- Finance. During her 11 years of teaching experience, she has mentored students and steered them towards research in the different fields of Commerce in both graduate and post-graduate programs like B.Com, BBA, M.Com and MBA. It was her passion for teaching, her motivation for leadership in academics & interest in outreach that had led her towards teaching. Dr Suri truly believes that learning is a never-ending process and therefore she actively participates in various National as well as international Conferences and Faculty Development Programs. Being a PhD in Accountancy and Business Statistics, greatly compliments her flair for research related to various issues in the field of Commerce. She has a sound research background with numerous publications. She has authored books, published Patent while her research papers have been published in various UGC Care List Journals and Peer Reviewed Journals.
Ms Neetu Sharma is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Business Administration at St. Xavier’s College Jaipur. She has 8 years of rich experience as a teacher-educator. She holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration with dual specialization in Marketing and HR and also M.Com (BADM). She has qualified UGC-NET in two streams Commerce and Management and is presently pursuing her PhD in Business Administration exhibiting a commitment to excellence in research and the pursuit of knowledge.
She has expertise in a variety of subjects including Business laws, Company Laws, Entrepreneurship, Functional Management, Human Resource Management and Marketing Management. She engages students through interactive discussions, real time case studies to develop a solid understanding of business principles and problem-solving skills. She has several research papers to her credit in a number of reputable national and international journals, and she has also participated in numerous national and international conferences.
She has increased the breadth of her expertise through several workshops and training on diverse topics. Her research concerns broadly fall under the larger field of Marketing, Human Resources, and Advertising.

Dr Pradeep Soni is working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Business Administration at St. Xavier's College, Jaipur. With his passion for teaching and extensive knowledge in the field of business administration, he plays a pivotal role in shaping the minds of future business leaders.
He has earned Master’s Degree in (ABST & EAFM) and a Doctorate in Commerce from the University of Rajasthan, Jaipur, has qualified UGC-NET in Commerce, also has a Post Graduate Diploma in Higher Education (PGDHE), from IGNOU, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration with the specialization of Marketing Management (PGDBA) from Symbiosis, Pune. He is appointed as an Academic Counsellor in IGNOU, Jaipur.
Dr Soni's commitment to academic excellence, coupled with his dedication to the personal and professional growth of his students and his passion for teaching , combined with his industry experience and research contributions, make him a valuable asset to both the institution and the students he serves.
Dr Pradeep Soni regularly participates in a variety of extracurricular activities outside of the classroom, including youth adventure training programmes, personality development and skills-based programmes. In the category of Best Programme Officer in the National Service Scheme, he was recently recognised by the Department of Higher Education, Government of Rajasthan. He was awarded by the President for his role as Rover Scout Leader. He is also the Caretaker Officer of the Naval Wing of NCC in the college and is also the coordinator of various government sponsored programmes.
