St.  Xavier’s College, Jaipur started the Eco-friendly Club in the year 2020-21. The purpose of the club is to create awareness of environmental issues, such as protection, conservation, preservation, and restoration with an emphasis on educating and empowering students by conducting green workshops and initiatives like green campus activities, waste disposal, and segregation awareness. Students play an important role as an effective instrument in sensitizing their families and friends about environmental issues and corresponding responsibilities. As leaders of tomorrow, they can be extremely instrumental in creating a platform for the challenges of tomorrow by inculcating the related knowledge and skills.  The Club organizes various activities on the college campus like tree plantation, plastic-free campus program, water awareness and best out of waste competitions, and other activities.
