The Synergy ’23 ‘Revitalizing the Rural Economy,’ commenced with the registration of the participants and refreshment distribution at 8:30 am on November 27, 2023. Following the refreshments, a group of 40 students embarked on an industrial visit to Bagru, to explore the hand block printing industry. Meanwhile, school students participated in the Inquesta inter-school quiz competition held in room number 333. Post the competitions, the opening ceremony and conclave for Synergy began at 12 pm in the college auditorium.
The opening ceremony began with the traditional lighting of the lamp, followed by the conclave discussion on ‘Viksit Bharat@2047.’ Professors Ritika Khera from IIT Delhi, Vinish Kumar Kathuria, and Mr. Harish Damodaran, Journalist from The Indian Express, participated in the conclave which was moderated by Mr Ajit Sharma, TEDx Ambassador. The opening ceremony concluded with the announcement of the results for the Inquesta Inter-school quiz competition.
On day two of Synergy 28th October 2023, the event ‘EconoPoly’ took place in the north quadrangle, alongside the ‘State of the Nation’ event held in the college moot court room. Following these events, ‘Rural Rupantar’ and ‘Press Quest’ took place in the conference room, where students presented their documentaries prepared from the visit and presented business ideas. The day’s events continued with ‘The Pitfall’ in the north quadrangle.
Synergy ’23 concluded with the closing ceremony in the conference room at 3:00 pm. During the closing ceremony, all winners from the various events were presented with mementos. The overall winner trophy of Synergy ’23 was awarded to IIS Deemed to be University. Post the closing ceremony, a jamming session was organized for the workforce and participants of Synergy. In total, 120 students from different schools and colleges participated in the event. The two-day event was well appreciated by the participants, ending on a happy note with plans to meet again next year.
