An educational trip to Nahargarh Biological Park was arranged by the Department of Science on 6th October 2023 for the students of BSc. This trip serves the purpose of the requirements of undergraduate Curriculum of the University of Rajasthan. The faculty members and technical staff of the department led the students. Students were explained about various plants and animal species. Students enjoyed this educational trip with lots of learning opportunities. Sr. Dr. Ligimol Louis, HOD expressed gratitude on behalf of the department to the college administration for providing financial support and necessary arrangements.
On the 6th of October 2023, an educational tour was organized for the students (30), faculty (6), and lab assistants (2) of the science department. This educational visit to Nahargarh Biological Park aimed to enhance students’ comprehension of biodiversity, aligning with the requirements
of the Undergraduate curriculum. The journey commenced at 9:00 am, with Dr. Sr. Ligimol Louis, the Head of the Department of Sciences, leading a prayer to kickstart the trip. During the excursion, students were provided with refreshments, and we reached our destination at 10:15 am. It’s noteworthy that this trip
coincided with the 69th Wildlife Week, observed from October 2nd to 8th, 2023, leading to the waiver of the students’ entry fees. The trip proved to be captivating, exposing students to the diverse flora and fauna species native to Rajasthan. The enthusiastic and inquisitive students engaged in lively discussions with Dr. Anik Satkar, delving into various botanical species. Dr. Sr. Ligimol Louis, as the Head of the Department, conveyed gratitude on behalf of the department to the college administration for their invaluable financial support and the necessary arrangements made for the trip. The group returned to the campus at 2:45 pm, concluding a rewarding and educational experience.
