The Swachhta Action Plan (SAP) in collaboration with the National Green Corps (NGC) successfully organized a Two Day Training Workshop titled “Go for Organic Cultivation” for the support staff of the college. The event aimed to promote sustainable and environmentally friendly agricultural practices through hands-on training and informative sessions. The workshop featured a comprehensive agenda, including a video presentation and a hands-on training session. The video presentation, held in the Conference Room, provided valuable insights into organic cultivation practices, emphasizing the importance of sustainable farming methods. The hands-on training session, conducted in the Organic Garden, allowed participants to actively engage in the process of making organic fertilizers.
Dr. Anik Sarkar, Assistant Professor from the Department of Science at St Xavier’s College Jaipur, served as the knowledgeable resource person for the workshop. His expertise in the field added significant value to the training, ensuring participants received accurate and practical information.
Ms. Nupur Chauhan and Ms. Ruhi Sinha efficiently coordinated the event, ensuring smooth logistics and communication. The “Go for Organic Cultivation” workshop proved to be an enriching experience for the support staff of the college, equipping them with the knowledge and skills needed for sustainable and eco-friendly agricultural practices. This initiative reflects the institution’s commitment to promoting environmental consciousness and adopting responsible farming methods.
