Knowledge Transfer Program Summary

The Tech-X Club of the Department of Computer Science, in collaboration with Xaviers Cyber Security Cell (XCSC) and Unnat Bharat Abhiyaan Cell (UBA), conducted a transformative knowledge transfer program from February 5th to February 10th, 2024. The program aimed to foster digital literacy and empowerment among underserved communities, specifically targeting students of Maa Sharda Public Senior Secondary School in Chatarpura and residents of Garima Greh: Shelter Home for Transgender Persons.

The program encompassed various sessions covering essential digital skills, cybersecurity awareness, and practical competencies in software applications and digital tools. It commenced with an introduction to basic computer hardware, followed by sessions on MS Word, PowerPoint, email usage, cybersecurity practices, Canva basics, and library technologies. The Knowledge Transfer Program enhanced technological access and awareness in underserved communities, empowering participants to become confident and responsible digital citizens. The collaborative efforts of all stakeholders underscored the importance and impact of initiatives aimed at bridging the digital divide and promoting inclusivity through technology-driven education.
