Cybersecurity is the process of preventing unauthorized access, theft, damage, or disruption to computer systems, networks, and digital information. It safeguards and ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information, and avoid data breaches. St. Xavier’s College Jaipur has initiated an innovative effort of establishing the Xavier’s Cyber Security Cell (XCSC) in the academic session 2021-2022. As per the mandate of the University Grant Commission, Ministry of Education, Gov. of India dated 24 August 2021, UGC has advised the Higher Education institutions (HEls) to strengthen cyber security and to tackle the unforeseen challenges of cybercrime. This cell also works for creating security awareness among the youth in form of seminars and workshops.
Tech-X Club develops and maintains access to required internet contents, monitoring and managing the anti-virus software, minimizes risk and takes care of overall maintenance of IT facilities in the campus. It will help in building interest of the students in technology while fostering deeper connections to the technology industry. It helps in improving and enhancing the technical skills of the students by collaborating the club with leading software industries. Joining the Tech-X will present many opportunities to hon and strengthen the technical skills. Tech-X allows the student to learn through soft skills and effectively interact with others, like communication, attitude, and work ethic. Participating in an event organized by Tech-X will help broaden and improve communication with both individuals and large groups, and will gain emotional intelligence as you develop new relationships.
