The Departmental Orientation Session titled “Economics Horizon: Where New Beginnings Meet Endless Opportunities” was organized by the Department of Economics, St. Xavier’s College Jaipur, on 30 August 2025 in Room No. 332. The session was coordinated by Dr. Sunita Choudhary and Ms. Aneesha Jain and was attended by 20 participants, including 15 first-semester B.A. Economics students and 5 faculty members.

The objective of the orientation was to welcome the new batch and familiarize them with the department’s academic structure, faculty members, and various curricular and co-curricular opportunities. Students were introduced to mentoring support, research guidance, and departmental activities aimed at enhancing their learning experience. The session encouraged students to actively participate in seminars, workshops, and other initiatives for holistic development. Overall, the orientation created a positive and welcoming environment, helping students begin their academic journey in economics with clarity, motivation, and enthusiasm.
