Every Xavierite is expected to:

• Respect the dignity, rights, and diversity of every individual.
• Maintain honesty, integrity, and discipline in academic and personal conduct.
• Attend classes regularly and be punctual.
• Wear the prescribed college ID card while on campus.
• Follow the instructions of faculty members, administrative staff, and college authorities.
• Maintain silence and discipline in classrooms, library, laboratories, and other academic spaces.
• Make constructive use of free periods by utilizing the library and other learning resources.
• Help maintain a clean, green, and plastic-free campus.
• Use college property and facilities responsibly.
• Follow traffic, parking, and campus safety regulations.
• Promote harmony, inclusiveness, and mutual respect among fellow students.
• Participate positively in academic, co-curricular, extension, and community service activities.
• Uphold the reputation of the College through responsible behaviour both on and off campus.

Students must not:

• Engage in ragging in any form. The College follows a Zero Tolerance Policy towards ragging.
• Bully, harass, threaten, discriminate against, or intimidate any member of the college community.
• Indulge in any form of sexual harassment, misconduct, stalking, or inappropriate behaviour.
• Damage, misuse, or vandalize college property.
• Smoke, consume alcohol, narcotic substances, or enter the campus under their influence.
• Carry weapons, explosives, or any prohibited items on campus.
• Use unfair means during examinations or indulge in plagiarism or academic misconduct.
• Loiter on campus during class hours or disturb ongoing academic activities.
• Litter the campus or misuse common facilities.
• Publish, circulate, or post any content on social media that harms the dignity or reputation of the College or its stakeholders.
• Participate in activities that disrupt the academic environment or violate institutional rules.

Digital & Social Media Responsibility

Students are expected to use digital platforms responsibly. Any online behaviour that amounts to cyberbullying, defamation, harassment, misinformation, or damages the reputation of the College or its members will invite disciplinary action.

Dress & Professional Behaviour

Students should maintain decent, neat, and appropriate attire and exhibit courteous, respectful, and professional behaviour at all times within the campus.

Discipline

Violation of the Code of Conduct may result in disciplinary action as per the rules and regulations of the College, depending upon the nature and severity of the misconduct.
