The program “Ek Abhilasha – An Effort Towards Making Dreams Come True” was organized by the Department of Economics, St. Xavier’s College Jaipur on 22 November 2025 at Government Secondary School, Narottampura. Conducted under the Unnat Bharat Abhiyan (UBA), the initiative was held in loving memory of former Head of Department Dr. Sapna Newar. The donation drive aimed to support the educational needs of students from the adopted village by collecting stationery items and monetary contributions.

Seventeen participants from the department actively contributed to the initiative, which benefitted around fifty school students. The collected funds were used to donate 10 benches and tables, along with stationery kits such as pens, pencils, notebooks, and books. Refreshments were also arranged for the students. The program successfully promoted social responsibility and community engagement among students while enhancing the learning environment for rural school children.
